A Living Legacy in the Mountains
Join us deep in the jungle as Andrés and his family invite us into their home, their land, and their incredible vision for sustainable coffee that protects the wild and honors the past.
A Living Ecosystem
La Mona isn’t just a coffee farm — it’s a rare pocket of wild nature that’s been protected for nearly 100 years. Andrés and his family have never cut down a single tree on the property. As a result, their land is teeming with wild animals, fruit trees, native plants, and complex root systems that naturally enrich the soil.
They don’t use chemicals or shortcuts. Their organic, biodiverse approach lets nature lead — and the coffee reflects that beauty. Rich, vibrant, and alive.

A Partnership Rooted in Trust
La Mona Finca is the second farm we ever partnered with — but it feels like it’s been part of our story forever. Our visits have become pilgrimages: a reminder of what coffee can be when it's grown with intention and care.
Andrés is a friend, a teacher, and a fierce protector of his land. Supporting his coffee means supporting a way of life that prioritizes balance, family, and future generations.
“Their property is straight out of a movie — wild, peaceful, and full of purpose.”
